AWANA

Awana is a mid-week youth program that helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.  This exciting program involves Scripture memory, games, Bible lessons, and many other fun activities.  For all the details please visit the Awana website at: www.awana.org.

Small Groups

Our small group ministry is multi-focused.  We offer a variety of electives for meeting practical needs within the church body and surrounding communities.  In addition, a core group of classes are regularly taught that seek to replicate for the laity the various topics making up a Bible college or seminary education.  We offer something for everyone.  All our groups provide great opportunities to forge deeper relationships that are centered upon Christ and built upon the Word of God.

Family Camp

A casual weekend at Camp Elkanah in the Blue Mountains filled with solid Bible teaching, good fellowship, and the most amazing camping meals.  Family camp is held over Labor Day weekend and provides a special opportunity for families to spend time together relaxing and enjoying creation at its best.  To learn more about Camp Elkanah’s facilities you can visit their website at: www.campelkanah.com.

Men's Group

The men’s group meets each Friday morning at a bright and early 5:45 a.m. for an informal time of fellowship that includes a light breakfast, teaching from Scripture, and prayer.  For more information about their activities please contact Bill Porfily at 541-449-1327.

Women's Bible Study

A women’s Bible study meets each Wednesday morning from 10:00 am to noon, during the school year.  This is a dynamic group engaged mostly in topical study and application of Scripture.  The ladies have fun together and would love to have you join them.  For more information about their activities and how you can become involved, please contact Shirley Gilson at 541-289-5766.

Youth Group

The high school youth group meets each Sunday afternoon at 6:00 p.m. in the church annex building.  In addition, the church hosts a monthly ‘fifth quarter’ outreach after Stanfield High School athletic events as a bridge building ministry to junior and senior high age students.  The church is currently in the process of hiring a full-time youth pastor and is excited about new avenues for ministry centered upon youth. For more information contact James Cambell  (541) 720-1339.
